Default Gladman Performance Strut Tower Bar

I just installed my Gladman performance single piece strut tower bar. I must say that this is an exceptional piece, as is most of Jordan's stuff. I now have his cooling plate, rear diffuser and strut tower bar.

I know most people think that the tower bar is a waste, but I did feel a slight difference after driving. The car did corner better and the chassis felt like it had less flex. I could feel a slight twist in the chassis during hard acceleration off the line before I installed this. After the bar install, I did not feel the twisting. The car feels solid in a straight line and the curves feel better. I would say this piece is worth the money. Besides, this thing looks great and adds to my red engine bay project. From what I recall on his ebay link, the bar is steel. It really is impressive. Here are the pics and links for you to see for yourself.

I had to jack the car up to fit the bar on, the fitment is tight and spot on

I just took all the nuts off installed the other end and pushed down on the tire to get this side to line up

do you know the estimate weight since the bar is made by steel?

Wonder if it will clear the K&N FIPK?

Hmm, interesting. I'll have to look into this. Are those air horns?

And when was the last time you changed your brake fluid?

well off topic, but his brake fluid could be either hella dirty or he could be running ate super blue.

Bar is exactly 4 Pounds on my electronic scale. It does sort of clear the FIPK, but it does rub against it. Then again I'm using a hump hose by the throttle body. You might have more clearance with the stock coupling. It's a tight fit bar, you can't just loosen the strut mount nut and install them. You gotta jack the car up and drop the strut mount/shocks a bit, then put the bar on.
Also the mounting holes on the driver side was off a little on my bar, had to open it up a little with a drill bit.

A little of both. I need to change it though it has been a little while.

looks great and matches real nice with everything, nice upgrade. I've never installed any strut bar with the wheels off the ground, always did it with the car on the ground.
