The APR one I have is FRP, but so far no issues with melting or anything and it is touching the mufflers on the inside.

Looks like I'd blame UPS/FedEx and less JDP for some of the issues.

And I'll second the "can't design it for every fart cannon exhaust" comment. I'd wager on your OEM exhaust there would be far less cutting required.

Looks good though, I've been considering picking up one for my car.
