the hole you have circled is not the one you plug up. theres another hole toward the bottom of the intake tubing thats for the temperature sensor. thats the one you plug up

i just noticed your model year on your car. i think i gave you backwards information. sh!t..my bad dude.

before 06+ intakes were available, owners used pre 06+ intakes by drilling a hole for the temperate sensor and plugged up the hole the hose goes into.

although different companies, intakes are pretty straight forward in design whether it be AEM or Fujita

instructions for install on a pre 06+ s2000 (has that hose)

instructions for install on a 06+ s2000 (does not have that hose)

http://www.aemintakes.com/instructio...1-690_inst.pdf

Summary:

I wouldnt do it.

Again sorry for the mishap. Its usually the other way around when this specific topic is created. I think you are the first one wanting to install a 06+ intake on a pre 06 s2000.

Oh wow. Thanks for clearing that up. Ive seen a lot of people just put an air breather on the end of it so I dont see why that wouldnt work?
And since I dont have an intake temp sensor I could just plug of the hole, right? Id like to make use of this intake since it was given to me at no charge otherwise id have to sell it!
