Front brake ducts done differently?

Here are the brake ducts on my AP2 front. They are taped into the grill:

Are the seals or the dust boots melting? Dust boots easily melt, seals don't.

Cool. Thanks for the feedback guys. I'm tempted to try the NACA ducts, but it will probably be easier to do the grill routing for now (like tinkfist). There are pics out there of race teams with NACA brake ducts. (http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1479376) ***TEMPTED***
