He never said it was an oem replica only an oem style ht. those people complaining about the hard top and it's style need to chill. No other vendor has made the effort to provide an inexpensive alternative to an oem style ht and done it well. Stop complaining and wait for the final product.
But yes, people need to chill out. Price will be released as soon as they have the numbers.

That black window molding is an important part of the OEM hardtop and how it looks overall. It is kind of a deal breaker on this OEM replica hardtop, and it would be great if you made it optional for us to buy the factory window moldings and be able to install them onto this OEM replica hardtop. IMO

I know I read the whole thread but painted black stripes sounds like it will look alot different then actual abs plastic moldings that are clipped into the hardtop. I'm not trying to start an argument, I'm just pointing out that there are definitely people that aren't going to buy it for this reason, I'm just wondering/hoping that the creator of these hardtops takes this into consideration.

I think you are splitting hairs. If its that big of a deal breaker then buy an OEM top. This one is supposed to have the OEM style but smoothed out. I think if you have it painted with the black lines it will look nearly the same. Can't please everyone I guess.
