Sorry, but $1600 or $1900 is still pricey imo, still have to factor in getting it painted, and that there's no interior (headliner, panels), non-oem hardware, shipping, seals, and getting the rear window installed. people are still going to be spending close to 3k for a non oem part.

Sypder, quick question. For the Mugen FRP hardtop, will the OEM hardware be compatible with that? Is so, do you offer that combination as well instead of the regular aftermarket hardware?

Thanks,

ATTENTION
right now, ball point its looking like 1600 for infusion frp, 1950 single side cf, and 2300 cf double with after market hardware included. These would be group buy prices, not MSRP.

I cant confirmed prices yet because we are waiting on some last min quotes.

Feedback Welcome
Drop the prices another $300!

I don't think the pricing is too bad. You can't associate shipping costs with the price then compare it to on OEM top @ 3k, or 3.5k, because that also does not include shipping. I can't even imagine the amount of work that goes into finishing one of these tops. From what I understand $2300.00 is the OTD price for the complete double sided cf top? I think thats reasonable. As a few have stated before, people who want an OEM top will fork over the additional $700-$1200 no matter what, then pay shipping on top of that unless they are lucky enough to find one they can pick up. I think that savings is adequate for people who don't demand OEM.
Maybe its just me.

^agree
I'm just waiting to hear the reviews once people get this top and decide from there if I want to go with a hard top or not and Rep or OEM but, do mostly top down driving for now.

I'm waiting for a concrete price and what exactly the top will come with, OEM glass or Lexan, hardware, etc. before I make a final decision.

If it could be $1600 including shipping I think that would be a excellent introductory group buy price....and I'm in for it.

Man, I swear some of you will never be satisfied...
The only reason mugen copy tops have gotten so cheap is because 1. They've been around forever so people aren't trying to recoup research production costs and 2. It's much less complicated to make. The rear window of the OEM top is massive and the curves in it don't make it cheap to produce I either lexan or glass.
$1900 is about what I expected.
