Hey whats up guys and girls I have a forbidden usa hardtop and was curious if there are any other companies who produce glass rear windows for the mugen hardtop, rather than vis and whether if anyone has installed a vis glass mugen hardtop window onto the forbidden usa mugen hardtop? I really need a glass window and just would like to know if anyone has had any experience with the vis glass window installed on the forbidden hardtop.

I have been told by several people, including Alberto from Forbidden USA that the VIS glass window will fit. I will be installing it on mine this fall.

it will fit, there is room for play that is why there is a molding and must be glued on

Thanks for the replies guys got off the phone with alberto and he said the same as well, just ordered my window from vis as well with the seal, apparently for the glass window its better go with the seal that vis provides alberto said, any experience with the vis seal for glass window??

Please post pics when it comes in and of the install. Those of us doing it soon would appreciate it.

The window is quality but the seal sucks. when you take it to your local glass installer they will have a better one. if you plan on tinting the window do so about a week before you take it to get the glass installed.

the plexi window that comes with the forbidden top is ok unless you actually plan on washing it/etc. Mine leaked a TON until I just gobbed a thick bead and even then it kinda leaked. Let me know about the VIS seal.
