Default Fitment of my Seibon MG hood

i think the MG hood i got might have been a newer edition. i bought it brand new 2 months ago. it came with vent covers that screw in to the underside of the hood (that wasn't part of the older one for sale i looked at a few months back), and the underside of the hood looks much neater. it is a bit heavier than stock, though thumbsdown.gif but i got the hood for looks so it doesn't really make me that sad. the older one i looked at weighed the same as stock. there is no bowing on the sides of my hood. this is the fitment of the hood with just one tiny 2mm adjustment to the hood latch. i am aware that i could loosen the hinges and slant the front end maybe 2mm more to the left. (no other adjustment because i was lazy). so for those looking to buy the hood but wary of fitment issues, it looks like seibon might have remedied the problem:

Yeah looks like you have the alternate version MG hood from Seibon since the hump is a diff shape. I've seen one of these hoods in person, the hood latch is fiberglassed in (at least on the one i saw) so made me wonder if it was from an early batch or if this the newest design/batch. Reason it makes me wonder if its old is because companies used to fiberglass the latch in back in the day, now a lot use bolts, but i guess its possible they could revert.

yea sorry there's no pic of the underside of the hood, but the hood latch is molded in with everythign else, whereas the older one i looked at had it screwed in.

in addition, where did you get yours? If I do wind up picking it up, I DEF want the covers, the rain and leaves here in FL are a PITA.
