Fidanza 2.1 clutch experience?
I recently purchased an 00' S and the clutch was almost toast. After a few pulls I managed to glaze it completely an am now in need of a new clutch. The car is basically stock in the way of adders having only a magnaflow cat-back and weapon r intake. Looking at close to factory feel clutches, the best deal I've seen so far is the Fidanza 2.1 performance clutch from coximport.com. Has anyone had any experience with this clutch/website? Or have any recommendations on a close to oem clutch with a good price? Thanks

Were not comparing apples to apples here but I had a stage 3 kevlar on my Evo 9..... WORST CLUTCH EVER! I did the 500 mile break in period they recommended in stop and go traffic (750 if highway miles) and then took it to the track. I didnt do a hard launch at all but half way down the track it slipped at about 4500 all the way to redline. Not something you would expect from a 4 puck kevlar clutch, i will never consider fidanza as a replacement clutch ever again. So personally I would stay away from it.
I had the mitsubishi dealer resurface the flywheel and do the instal but after 6 months it was back in the shop getting the OEM set up put back in and it was fine after that. Like one of the guys said before, stick with OEM.

I'd recommend you purchase the Exedy OEM replacement. It has a nice soft pedal feel. Price is very cheap as well. $330 shipped includes disk, pressure plate, pilot bearing and throwout bearing
