Default Exedy OEM vs LUK oem (clutch)

Can anyone tell me the differences between the two? I found the Exedy OEM replacement clutch kit on amazon for $353 without flywheel. Flywheel would be around $300, i have a buddy with a shop who can get a LUK oem replacement clutch kit with Flywheel for around $540. This would save me some money but i cant seem to find any comparison reviews or really any reviews about LUK oem. anyone have an input?

Thank, JP

from all accounts, i'd go with the OEM honda unit. It's actually different from any aftermarket "OEM replacement" disks. The problem with a lot of aftermarket disks is that the spring breaks loose. If you look at the OEM disk, it looks almost impossible for the spring to break loose.

I second Original honda, for the price you are paying you might as well pay a little bit for more for the oem quality, $40-$80 is not worth the gamble of crap breaking in the clutch arena.

now, have you considered whether you are going to go with an AP1 flywheel or the AP2 flywheel? that's the real question
