Stroker kit all said and done would be the same price if not more expensive than ap2 swap. Plus it wouldn't have oem reliability. If boost is thrown into the equation then its completely irrelevant. A boosted ap1 can do quite a bit. And you can just turn up boost. The Only down side i see to the AP1 are the valve retainers.

and the only downside to the AP1 retainers is idiots who mis-shift...theres nothing mechanically wrong with them and can hold 9k for the life of the motor so i kinda think thats a moot point

I love this debate. My vote goes to AP1.
I just don't believe a 9k AP2 would last as long as long as an AP1. maybe ap2 guys can comment on reliability
And why do F1 teams use such low displacement motors that rev high?

50k on mine no issues that i havent created myself. In fact this motor lasts longer at 9k than new s2000 drivers on the road...

so let me get this right..a 2.0L engine makes the same HP as a 2.2L engine? just the torque difference?
btw in my country we only have 95-98-100 octane gas..if that makes a difference in this swap

Dont focus so much on peak numbers, look at the whole poweband. The F22c is superior on an even playing field of mods
