Emanage Ultimate or VAFC
#11
VAFC will not do you any good. For NA tuning our car responds best to the ignition timing adjustment, VAFC can't do it, Emanage ult can. Also forget about gaining 10-15hp.....5hp is more realistic number, with most of the gain in the mid-range. I know, I went through it first hand.

i got a vafc II on i/e/tp and it worked out great. I got a 7hp increase and vtec down to 4500. There's no problems with the whole "ecu nulling tune". It also works under non WOT.

Thanks fellas for your inputs on this subject, I have decided to save up and get the emanage as a member stated if I decide to go the SC route it would be best which I plan to in the near future. I am located in so-cal I read posts of a fella who runs church tuning but they all involve VAFC; with that being said does anyone know someone who tunes Emanage in so-cal
i've had my car tuned there with an e-manage ult. when i first got it, and then re-tuned when i added a header. i recommend him. he's good...lots of us use him and he knows the emanage well, and the s2000 better ( he has 2...one stock, the other a fully built race car ).
he's over by the long beach piers area off of wilmington.

here's my information from the first time i was out there: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...&#entry12123597
as you can see, i had this long before anyone else did...except those guys out in the northeast..that's where i got the idea from. i've been running it for over a year without any problems.
the re-tune after adding the rick's header dropped my top end by 4.5hp, but increased low to mid hp by 6-8hp. picked up some good low end tq too.
i wouldn't do as well with just a vafc. that thing is garbage.

I was thinking of getting an AEM EMS when I find it on sale just because it has such crazy options and can be used later for boost. But reading this sounds like I may be able to go with the Eman Ult and be ok.
