fyi-----you can buy plastikote at both Lowes and Home Depot in the paint department
They often dont carry the red if thats what your interested in. When i get home im going to do my Lug nuts, put them on my Honda Element as the S2k is in the shop, and if they hold up for longer than a week without a chip ill do my wheels.

the problem with your lugs will be when installing/removing. also if you spray it too heavy your socket won't fit on them anymore.

Yes I realize this, but you can apply it on the wheel directly.

I see you chose not to do a detail tape job and painted some of the fender and bumper...is that because the plasti paint doesn't bond to the car's paint?

Correct. It rubs off pretty easily.

So the steps are.. clean the place your going to spray this on.
The cleaner the paint is.. the easier it is to peel off.
THen mask off the area that your going to spray.
From there apply light even coats and let it dry 15 min between each layer. I did 4 layers total so you can see my spray layers were very light. You want to spray thick on the paint area so its easier to peel off. Once its all painted let it dry for a few hours.

Then remove the masking tape. When removing the tape be careful it dosent peel off the spray you did and accidentally peel off the emblem.

After that clean up the car and enjoy the new emblems! Its the CR look without the CR cost.

Sorry I dont mean to say easy.. I mean to say its easy to remove if you want to remove it. My emblems have been holding up pretty well. No issues yet. It just come off if you brush by it though.
