After drying ( 3 coats ), super bright in real life, looked amazing.

After one week of use, brake dust becomes almost permanently embedded in the paint, if anyone wants to do this I highly suggest you clear coat the wheels, there's no way I'll be able to keep up with the brake dust, they'll eventually become too dirty,

love the look of your car wheels n all.
ive always liked the SSRs.

First time I've ever seen this.

Has anyone tried this as an alternative to blue taping the front end of the car for long highway trips? If so, how did it do in comparison? I can't stand spending all that time masking the car off with tape and this could be a great solution! (just worried about the finish of the car being damaged)

Shouldn't damage the paint, but the cheaper alternative with blue masking tape is probably better. The Plasti-Dip has to dry and needs multiple coats to be easy to remove.

Has anyone got any experience of doing their wheels in this stuff if the wheels are powder coated to begin with? I'm wondering whether the extra heat the powder coat generates will cause the plastikote to peel off? I want to do my White wheels black for the winter so they dont get ruined by dirt, salt and brake dust.

You will be fine. My wheels were white before and now with 3 coats of black and 2 coats of gloss clear.

It's been like 4 months with weekly washes with pressure washer and still looks like the first day I painted them with plasti dip.

I'm on my iPad now, I will post pic later.
