Alright. Finally done! It came out pretty awesome for what it cost. I would say the plastidip isn't really like spray paint at all. It doesn't drip and blotch unless you realllllllly leave it one spot too long. The plastidip is really forgiving. Easiest spray can product I've used.
A couple tips.
1)Be patient when coating. IT may seem like the color isn't changing, but by the 4th coat your good to go.I would say go heavier with the spray each time you hit it.
2)Do this when it is hot. Was kind of cold in socal LOL like 60 degrees so it took a lot longer to dry
3) Make sure if you card the rims up, after you take them out make sure they didnt bond a little to your rim. Or else you'll rip some off! I did this. Almost cried. But this stuff is petty good and I sprayed straight over the 3 inch tear.
Onto the pics. 1st one is where I started. 2nd is coat #2? and The last one is on the car. Bigger pics when its sunny tomorrow.

Nice...hard to see the white in that last pic, but it looks pretty good so far. I will tell you now, it is going to be a pain to keep them clean. Because of the texture of the Plasti-Dip (not smooth), it seems to really like brake dust! My front rims get pretty dirty after two or three days of driving. Cleaning does take a bit of elbow grease and some care along the edges. This is a great thing as a temporary fix or to experiment, but in the long run, you will be better of getting them professionally painted, powdercoated (which I am going to do in a few weeks or so, hopefully), or just buying aftermarket rims of your choice.

using the plastidip in cans, dipped lugs. this was a test. they held up pretty well until i took my car to discount to get new tires put on my wheels and they used the air guns on them.
