i read the diy for this many years ago when i had my first ap1. i attempted to install a set of ap2 headlights on my ap1 yesterday. bolting them up and triming the space for the wires to go through was no biggie. i had the biggest problem mounting the ap1 ballast. i did manage to get them mounted and than couldnt install the headlight support and bumper due to the ballasts placement. what is another alternative? ap2 ballasts? aftermarket hids with a small ballast? thanks

 

get ap2 ballast........save u times on modifing.........04-05 Acura TSX headlamp ballast fit as well..........

 

you just have to find a different way of mounting the ap1 ballast. I just zap strapped it onto some metal underneath the headlight area. But now that i have smaller ballasts from an aftermarket HID kit, its much easier.
