Default Down Force 30mm fenders overkill?

Im trying to determine whether or not a set of Down Force 30mm wide fenders would be overkill for my aftermarket wheel/tire set up. Im running SSR SP1 18x8 with a +49 offset up front with a 225-35-18 tire. There is no doubt I am getting some serious rubbng along the fender liner and I noticed a small crack in the paint on my fender the other day.

Do you guys think a 30mm fender would look "dumb" with the wheel/tire combo I have?

You shouldn't rub with that combo.. it is not aggressive.

Try to run -2 camber and you will be fine but it is also depending on your ride height.

It will look funny if you get the fender.

Thanks, that's what I thought. I am pretty low, I can barely get 1 finger between the wheel well and tire.

Im thinking I may just need a fender roll?

Fender roll should be fine.

you can't roll the front fender. it has to be pulled or cut the lining. have you had an alignment? proper camber will fit those just fine.

i'm running almost the exact same specs as you +1 on the offset. my car is lowered to where the fender and tire is less than a finger gap, but not tucked. with the uk alignment, i'm just fine. don't even rub on dips.

i'd raise the coils up about 1/8th" or so, get an alignment done, and you'll be fine. 30mm fenders will look ridiculous. the wheels will be tucked, well, basically 30mm inside the fenders.
