it goes in the stock place and no it doesnt do anyhting that we dont already ahve from the factory. 9/10ths of chassis stuff we already have or dont need.
if it didn anything it would increase oversteer. might sound like you are gonna be a hero drifter...but in truth increasing oversteer will make you the jackass who crashes while pulling into a parking space

It is no better than the stock piece. A solid bar would marginally increase rigidity which as mentioned above possibly create more oversteer. Although this is not as bad as street ruler would lead you believe. After all my car ('01 ap1) stock has much more tendency to oversteer then your car would with even a solid chomoly or titanium bar. It's really just preference and driving style. Also increased oversteer and/or stiffness in the rear could be used to balance out wider tires (increased grip) for a similar balance in handling with greater grip potential.

when looking at stiffness of a bar that is under compression thickness has less to do with it than you think. a solid bar is virtually no better than a hollow one. as a isde note, submarine prop shafts are hollow and packed with sand to keep them from being crushed

I need a new one...
but $20 shipping? for a piece that weighs almost nothing?
bullsh*t
on a side note, I think this piece may be under tension -- not compression -- but still no effective difference then stock...
