Default Does Anyone Sell a Short Intake Snorkel/Extension

Just curious if any company sells a short intake extension for the stock intake box. I've seen all of the long snorkels that go deep into the front bumper and face outwards to get cold/ram air. I just want a short extension to go over radiator and suck a bit colder air without having to go down deep into the bumper. Any info would be helpful if such an animal exists. thanks.

I have one of those already on the car but I'm not likely going to keep it. I did a search but only seen pics of longer snorkels.

not really, you could always buy the password jdm snorkel and just use the piece that connects to the intake box and not the scoop. you could also just buy a cheap fiberglass snorkel and cut to desired length.

Actually that would work, I failed to realize that the piece has two parts to it, I think that may be an option. Thanks for the reply on that.

My other option is to cut out the snorkel part of the AUT cooling plate, but I am not sure how easy it is to cut carbon fibre and what tool to use to do it.

As for the previous reply, I'm not convinced that the cooling plate design is any better than the stock air channelling piece in front of the radiator, I'd prefer to go back to the stock part, but I also want to extend the stock intake out a bit further to suck cooler air if at all possible.

you're not making much sense... you want to entend the intake but you don't want a snorkel?.... buy a snorkel on ebay and cut it, then.
