Default DIY Folding Cup Holder, 5 Minute Installation

This is a ghetto quick zip tie installation of a folding cup holder used in campers and boats. Available all over the internet or at many outdoor equipment stores.

This is what it looks like installed and in use...

First step is to remove the side tunnel net (mini "cargo" net) on the passenger side of the transmission tunnel.

Take a long zip tie and run it behind the two rear most round clips which held the net.

The cup holder has six mounting holes for a lot of mounting options. I ran a zip tie through a pair of upper and lower mounting holes then behind the first zip tie. Keep the square flange on the zip ties behind the holder.

Tighten up the two zip ties to pull the holder firmly against the tunnel. Cut off the excess behind the holder.

When not in use it folds up for a clean look.

Even in use, I thought it's out of the way of your passenger's leg. My GF complained it stuck out too close to her leg. I noted that not everyone has chubby legs.

That's when the fight started.

I find it funny you got it from GoWesty, they are based out of my small home town. I actually know the owners daughter maybe she can get me a hook up on one.
