I got the ACT and it's just a tad on the too light side. I have a feeling 10~11lbs would be the sweet spot.

ACT does not make a 11lbs'er for our cars for some reason.
Nice info.
I have the Comptech, and I think it's perfect.

i had a carbonetics single it looked good but i was spooked because i went to install the pilot bearing in the flywheel and it fell right in...and fell out. its supposed to be a pressed in bearing. so i sent the whole thing back and lost $125 for a restocking fee. that sucked bad. when i called them, they said that i dont need to install a pilot bearing. i was pissed off. im not gonna say who i talked to, but i wont go there again. it was NOT carbonetics who i bought it from. so i coughed up $2,430 for the absolute best clutch i could buy. and the best streetability.

is it true that with a lighter flywheel you fall out of VTEC when shifting?

The revs fall more quickly in btwn shifts, so if you shift slow I guess you do have a chance to fall out of vtec.

Just shift fast and you won't have a problem falling out after each shift.

i hope you got a new pilot bearing.and as far as the drive shaft bolts, try to use a breaker bar and allen socket. i believe it 8mm. and as far as the upper starter bolt.....its easy if you remove the motor mount completely. use a half inch drive ratchet, 3 inch extension, and socket. you are gonna have to feel for it. its a little awkward. (((ALSO THIS IS A GOOD IDEA...BEFORE YOU REMOVE THE STARTER BOLT, REMOVE THE KNOCK SENSOR.)))) Unplug the connector, and remove it gently with a 24mm deepwell. if you break it...it costs around $140. they are really sensitive.

I am also thinking about buying this clutch so mate it to my Toda flywheel.
I feel bad replacing the stock clutch at only 55k though..
