Dash check engine light deleted, help

Honda S2000 Service Manual. This is for the North America cars but probably good enough for all markets. Great thing is it's searchable so in this case just search for P0141 (Papa-zero-141, 'cuz Papa-Oscar-141 won't find it) and pages of trouble shooting and repair will show. Print what you need. I have the gigantic printed copy but use the digital version to find what I need and then drag the printed manual out to the car.

P0141 is just an O2 sensor heater code. Buy a new Denso sensor from Rockauto or buy one from Honda or any authorized dealer.
Its no big deal.
If you buy a clutch, buy a Honda genuine one.

It's sad that to solve that issue, they pulled the cel light instead of replacing the O2 sensor.... How difficult is it to put it back in (the bulb)?
I just hope it's not a programming wiz trick that deleted the cel light .... Just like what they with the ford raptors.... I will have figure this out I guess....

Dash cluster attached .... So confused.
I am confused... This is an ap2 2007, ecu is an ap2... Dash cluster replaced? Should redline at 8k? Right? Do I even have a service light?

That is a JDM/EUDM cluster for a 2004+ car.
Only North America got the 2.2L after 2004. So someone put a non North American cluster in the car for some reason.

My guess, the car has been in Abudhabi since 2013, perhaps with 110f heat, the cluster gave up and they replaced it with one in the uae.... So maybe the CEL not connected? Or bulb out or not compatible?

You need a need a 06+ cluster. The 06-07 is technically the correct cluster, but I think the 08-09 *might* also work.
Upon closer inspection, your current cluster is 06+ spec. Just not North American spec.
I doubt your old cluster failed due to heat.
Also, I think your CEL works fine. Its the circle with the exclamation isn't it? Someone from EU or Japan can confirm.
Here is my MY07 USDM cluster's startup display

Check engine light (malfunction indicator lamp) is not displayed in any of the earlier cluster photos, it always has been the little "engine" (imagine that!) on the last photo.
The earlier photos are a dash cluster for a car with the AP1 engine (9000 rpm). I'm guessing "face lift" as other than the tach it's very much like my USDM 2006 dash. 2004 and later North American S2000s had AP2 engines and 8000rpm tachsand 2007 cars got tire pressure monitoring which would show on the display somewhere. My 2006 lacks it. The wiring harness connectors for 2006 and 2007 may differ due to tire pressure monitoring.
There's no part (?) number on the bottom edge of the display on my car like in the photos. Not sure what this number represents. There have been unanswered questions regarding 1550-L5 since 2005.
I'd get a proper North American cluster for the car's model year.
