Cutting Stock hood pics for J's intake
Hey all.. After searching for pics I can't find a pic of how the stock hood is cut to fit the J's intake. Can anyone email me a pic showing how the stock hood was cut to fit the J's intake? PM me for my e-mail if you do not wish to post on this thread.
Thanks
Gokhan

Following pictures are from my previous S2000, when I installed my J's Racing Intake. If you need also the instructions for cutting this part of the hood, you can find them here. Its the same for the Mugen Intake, that am about to install this month.

Use the grease method which works great. Install intake, apply a thin layer of axle grease on the intake, close hood, grease makes mark on hood, cut, and repeat.
Come to think of it maybe hair gel might work just as well and be a little cleaner to work with.
Real hair gel gentlemen, not the kind from Something About Mary.

Anyone have the instructions? That site is down. Thanks.
I've got this picture stored in one of my albums. Hope this helps.
