Default Custom Seat Mounts thread

I've read a few posts from people who have had custom seat mounts made to lower their fixed back seat up to 4" lower than a stock seat. Can anyone recommend a reputable shop that can fabricate these?
I'm sure we would be giving up the ability to slide our seats to have the lowest possible seating position, but I always keep my seat all the way back anyway.
Any one with pictures of their setup? Any interest in a group buy?

FYI- backyard special stock seat lowering rails only the lower the seat ~.75 inch. mugen rails with mugen seats lower the seat about 2 inches. sounds like to get much lower than 2 inches the only option is custom fabricated fixed position seat mounts, and I'm all for it.

Might be pretty tough to access the mounting points without the ability to slide the seats forwards and backwards.

I considered this option when I picked up my Sparco Revs and decided against it.

However, let us know how it goes.

i have Taitec rails from science of speed. I cut out the rear cross bar and that allowed me to mount my bucket seat at the lowest possible position. The rear bottom end of my seat is on the floor of the car. I don't have a s2000 anymore so they will be for sale soon.

If I can't get my Buddy Clubs to work in the next few days, I will purchase both the driver and passenger sets.

PM me your asking price.

I just did it and works great. Little scary with the hammer but it all worked out. I took out a pretty good size of foam from the seat. I just got home from WTD, a 8 hour drive and my bum still feels fine.

I originally went with the Taitec rail and it is a good way to get down if you remove the cross piece. It takes a pound off of it too. Even at that there is weight to be removed.
