Default Cross Drilled Rotors and Noise when braking?

Hi fella's, Im considering about switching over to cross drilled rotors and am afraid of ppl complaining about a humming noise that is emitted when you use the brakes.

Is this true? Anyone ever experience this before?

The brake noise is typically due to the pad upgrade people do when they change the rotors.

By the way, the noise (squealing) and dust are totally worth upgrading to more aggressive pads.

are you saying that if i were to go with more aggressive pads i would have more or less noise? i am considering using OE pads with the x-drilled rotors

Yes that is correct.

If you're going w/ OEM pads, i doubt there's going to be much of a sound difference.

You will hear more noise, more of a grinding noise. Better pads all make much more noise than stock pads, with stock disks.

speaking of brakes, does anyone know of a company or person that sells powder coated/painted S2K rotors?
