We have 100% Authentic Genuine Honda CTR shift knobs in stock. Those ebay ones are fake, that price is lower than the price Honda dealers in Japan pay.

I just want to say that is MOST LIKELY a counterfeit.
How do I know? I bought a similar shift knob for my CRX, except it was five speed. There was never a 5-speed version of this knob made, yet somehow it came in a "Honda" box and plastic. The box and label are not hard to replicate... I really don't care, since it definitely feels real and isn't a cheap hollow one, but I can almost promise you it's a fake. Honda doesn't sell them for a low enough price that $36 would be profitable to the seller...
The knob is high quality. The weight is good, it feels solid, but they aren't real. If you just want the style then get the ebay one, as I doubt you'd be able to tell the difference. I have a real OEM one in my S2000 and a "real" 5-speed one in my CRX. They feel and look the same, but one is most definitely counterfeit.

Just traded for one, it's a fake.
Decent looking - but definitely a fake. Box has an interesting logo visible in this picture:
And the overall look of the knobs (fake 'blurple' and fake 'CTR') are identical. Not the end of the world I suppose?
If anyone would like more detailed pictures let me know.
It did come with a "OEM" Honda sticker on the box and an "OEM" sticker on a baggie inside the box.

My take- some "cool shift knob" is a wonderful target for oportunistic thieves, who may just slash your top to get it.
I'm sticking with the orginal.
