Default Couple Question on BC Spec III exhaust

I just got my buddy club Spec III exhaust, it's a 2 piece design exhaust, as many of you guys know sometimes fitment on the exhaust is not perfect. I believe 2 piping suppose to be overlap each other and then use the spring to connect them. but unfortunally, the BC i got didn't get that perfect fitment. it can't overlap each other. did any of u guys happen to have this problem when you got it? How to fix it is my main question

Sounds like you need to expand the pipe a bit to get it to slide over. BC exhausts seem kind of junky and loud from previous reviews on s2ki. What made you go with this exhaust?

I have the same exhaust. I think it sounds nasty, and it's super light. My other exhausts haven't always fit perfect either. But none as bad as this one. I can't get it to fit on my AP2. I had it on, it shifted while driving, and it burnt through my bumper.

Not a great experience, but oh well. I think with aftermarket parts in general there's always a little "tweaking" necessary to make things fit. Take it to an exhaust/muffler specialist and have em fit it up right for you.

Burnt your bumper!! That is awful!

I would almost see if the OP could send this back and get a refund for such a crappy piece of workmanship.
