I looked at Arkansas and California... neither requires a third brake light. I also looked at the Federal CFRs... the Fed law only requires two brake lights.

Personally, I dont see any state being more strict than California.

You may be thinking of manufacturer's requirements. New cars must be made with a third brake light, but they are not required to be street legal.

MG1 trunk- 8lbs
MG2 trunk- 9lbs
MG hood- 13lbs

I don't have the stock parts handy, sorry. These are single sided carbon numbers.

wow the trunk looks nice! I think i'd like it more if it more oem with the little lip thing rather then mugen style

I would love to see the hood that Kondor999 has, but without the front notch for the snorkel.

I wouldn't be surprised if the stock trunk with the latch, key cyl and brake light was in the 20 to 30 lbs range and the only thing you will need from that trunk is the power latch. sounds like a good weight savings not to mention a perfect look ( MG2 )
