My MG2 Trunk made it about 2 years. The top layer is delaminating from the bottom layer. Not very satisfied for 700.00 and only 2 years of life. The Clear coat started to milk white about 3 months ago. I had to paint the trunk to see if the clear coat would reseal the cracking, no luck. The imperfections of the trunk just showed up worst. Front edge is worst than I thought and the body shop tells me the I will need to re-fiberglass the whole front egde and they are not sure if the rest of the trunk will start to delaminate too. I am probally going to take the trunk off and put my factory trunk back on. MG2=Not worth the money

wow thanks for the info. I've been tryin to find one used but I guess I should start looking for somethin else. But I really like the MG2 design tho...

would my subwoofer cause it to crack ?

It won't cause it to crack, but i must worn you, this thing is thin. The sub will make the trunk flex as the bass is hitting. I can push down on mine and it will flex inward. a little too much for my taste
