In NY you must have a 3rd brake light for a certain yr and up on cars so unfortunalty the MG2 wouldnt work for me. But, let me come up with a pic I can post to show you what i mean. it would be way less then a pound for this.

Hey Jim...did you see the J's racing diffusor link i posted?
any plans for making the J's?
FRP would be nice too to keep cost down. I wouldnt mind paying for a diffusor but saving for a ring and house really kills my budget. $800 for a nice CF diffusor shipped sounds right. i'd be fine with it, but i dont think SHE'd understand

a J's racing FRP at $400 shipped would be cool

keep up the great work

I was thinking of this

take a few of these-make sure they are white when off...red when on

drill about 7 holes in the trunk the same diameter, slip the LED's into their own holes, seal it up with clear weather caulk from the inside, wire them up and into the connector for the S2k 3rd brake light. this whay its plug and play.
the weight of 7 LEDs and wire is nothing. Probably weight less then socks...drive barefoot people =P

Oh and for the diffusor posted above. IMO the center should be wider to match the AP2 bumper(flow better)...not sure what it would look like on AP1 bumper

List of parts being made inorder for the s2k, we have no desire to make a J's diffuser, sorry. We have too many projects as it is, and the MG TS diffuser will look better then the J's IMO.

We have no intentions of changing the diffuser, just mind adjustments to the brackets and minor shaving for the exhaust systems.

- Supercharged engine puzzle set
- TS diffuser
- Amuse style hood
- fenders
- possible widebody (insane!)

Here is a better rendering of the trunk with an LED integrated light bar. This isn't difficult to create but I doubt MG would want to go this route with their trunk. This is just my personal opinion on the matter.

^^^
If i was to get that trunk - or the ASM duckbill - I would be doing something like that ...
Or a light bar further up toward the soft top trim...

Really not a big job if you like messing with stuff...

And if you're the plug and play type - well maybe you'd learn something...
