Default Cold air intake. Long ram or short ram?

Alright guys, was just seeing what people's opinions were on cold air intakes. I've got an AEM long ram to my side vent with a hydo shield but thinking off taking the long ram off and going short. What have you got and what do you thinks better?

Cheers

There was a thread somewhere in the NA tuning subforum discussing this - it discussed 3" or 4" intake piping, as well as covered length. I'll need to go search for it, but I believe there were far more benefits with a longer intake.

Well someone in the engineering field once told me tat cold air intake is for improve torque in the low end while short ram is for high rpm range. So I guess it depends on watever it is u r trying to improve.
