Default Coilovers: Bilstein PSS9 or KW V3?

I need coilovers to lower the car, and improve handling. The car will be mostly street, but will be tracked every now and then. I'm not sure how serious I'll be at the track since it'll be my first time next month. I'm trying to get the most bang for the buck. I'm new here so I'm not familiar with all the coilovers and current market prices.

I've narrowed it down to two options. I've included the best pricing I found:
- Bilstein PSS9 - $1292 shipped
- KW V3 - $1560 picked up, cash (special price only for me, please no more PMs)

What do you guys thing? Any suggestions are welcome. Also, if you know any other places where I can get better prices, let me know.

P.S. I can also get the Megan Street for $800 shipped or the Megan Track for $830 shipped.

Thanks,
some noob

If you're not using R compound tires, then pss9 is more then enough

I just ordered BCs from Riley. They seem to be good coilovers at a great price:

Oops.

There's a lot of good info in this thread also. Read down a few posts:

I was seriously contemplating the PSS9s but the biggest turn off for me was that they're not triple perch. When you lower the car you decrease shock travel. They have a recommended minimum height and I didn't want to be restricted in how low I could go.

I had the same thought, but like I said, if you aren't going for a dedicate track tire it's a waste of 200

I actually found them for a cheaper price at $1292 shipped. I'm leaning towards the PSS9 now due to the better ride quality since 95% of the time, I'll be on the street.

Love mine and everyone that gets into my car.

It handles everything so well and still very fun at the track with full stiff
