clutch/lsd .... carbon or not?
Have a couple more months before starting my build, but am at the point of researhing about clutches and lsd's for the car.
Leaning towards getting maybe the ats carbon clutch for the possible turbo set up. Any draw backs from current owners of this system or people familiar with it? Any chance of damage to tranny/gears,etc?
also going with the inline pro diff kit with the r200 diff. Looking to upgrade to a carbon lsd, but again not sure if this would be the best option.
all help appreciated.

I have had a few clutch setups in my car but, not the one your asking about.
I think a good stage 2 single clutch will do you just fine
Maybe an ACT, Spec, or Centerforce. Check with the guys in the FI forum on what they think.
I have a Kaaz 1.5 LSD in my diff with 4.56 gears and I love it great LSD for the money. Now you can upgrade the clutches in it to there new more advanced clutch kit. (I think it is called a solid LSD) It is supposed to be quieter and grip even better.
I have the standard clutches in mine with no complaints but, I will up grade when the time comes
The new Solid LSD is available for the R-200 Diff but, not yet for the Honda Diff, you can buy the solid clutch kit and then have them install it or do it your self. There sight says it will be avaiable soon like for the R-200

thank you for the response.
I was able to find some info on the ats carbon clutch. Has some chatter, but supposedly is not as bad as others. Grips very well, and has long life as apposed to others aswell.
Was also able to find that a lot of people are using the spec, and competition clutches that are FI. Looking into these aswell
I'm huessing this solid lsd is something new from Kaaz? Never heard of it before, and it's sounds fairly good so far. If it's true it makes less noise and performs better then the average lsd then I would not think twice about another. I've only heard great things about Kaaz.

I don't even know mine is back there until I hook a corner and I get pushed through
I don't realy here it at all, I use a gear oil cocktail, 70% Lucas 80/90, 30% Lucas oil stabilizer, and 2oz of TRX (made by the CRC company) LSD additive.
You can not use any sort of synthetic oil or additive in a rear with a clutch type LSD.
The LSD is very quite using this blend
I have a Spec stage 1 clutch in my car now and it is the best I hve had so far
