clutch/flywheel update/CHATTER***

okay guys, got another one for ya...
cars back together... i got impatient. act 8 lb flywheel, oem pressure plate, kept the exedy disk. i pull it apart again when it slips (thats so far in the future i dont know)
but, with the exact same setup as before, except now i have the ACT 8lb flywheel, im getting that clutch buzz... 4k and lower, until like 2200 or so...
should i expect this with the lightweight flywheel?!!!? i didnt realize that the flywheel could cause it also! its no big deal, i just want to know WHY.
Thanks,
Matt

I knowwwww! But, I'm expecting to pull it apart in 2 years and put something decent in it. I read everywhere that the exedy is just the same as the oem as they are made by the same company. The clutch job wasnt difficult, at all. Sooo, I figure, if something breaks, I'll do it again!

Exedy disk is junk for s2000. Its been proven many many many times to fail prematurely

Well it was basically brand new in there, so I left it. It feels fine, I will replace it once I get the turbo setup together...
Regardless of my ignorance, what do you think this noise is? Typical clutch buzz?

Isn't clutch buzz often due to the way the springs are held in the disc? Once these springs let loose, you get catastrophic failure?

Do it right the first time but apparently you didn't listen to ANYONE'S advice. You made a thread for opinions yet you still decided your way was better. We told you our real world experience and yet you dont listen. If this is what you plan to keep doing to the s2000, all I going to say is good luck with your turbo build.
