Clutch Delay...
Trying to compile some personal opinions on the Clutch delay. Yes, yes.... Ive done the search thingy.... just didnt come up with what I was after... this might even be in the wrong forum... if so, please re direct. Thks
How many people have gotten rid of the clutch delay, and how many havent? Opinions? Anyone have troubles from getting rid of it? I have an '03 clutch slave, and was planning on using it... but just a little unsure at this point. Here is how I see it.
Differential - $400-$600
Clutch (from all that slipping with the delay) - $1200.00 Installed

Yes there are 100x threads on this so you should check those out.
I am against swapping in older parts on newer cars because you don't know what other changes were involved in Honda's decision to make a new slave cyl. Maybe the volume is different? Making a small hole or picking the spring out is the preferred method.
Here in AZ, 90% of the AP2 owners have theirs removed. Everyone is happy with the change.

Did mine over a year ago and never looked back. Get your self a set of mechanics picks you will need it to remove the snap ring. You can find them a sears for less than 10 bucks.
