Changing DRLs to HID?

It is possible to change your DRL to HID, however your high beams will also be HID.
The reason why this is bad is because it is not good for HIDs to run at half power from the DRL. Also, because HIDs take a little time to turn on and that is not good for the high beams as you want them to turn on instantly when needed.
If you leave your DRL/high beam on halogens, all bulbs will still make the DRL yellow because any halogen bulb will burn yellow at half power. So even if they burn white or blue at full, it will have a tint of yellow for the DRL.
