Default Carbon Fiber Hardtop or Fiberglass Hardtop?!?

Hi, I want to get a Mugen Replica hardtop for my car, but I have a few question I can't seem to get answered.

What is better Carbon Fiber or Fiber Glass??

Which Replica is better Seibon or ViS?

HELPP!!!!

Depends on if you want weight savings or looks.

Either way, I'd say Seibon. Fiberglass for looks, and CF if you're concerned about weight. Or...CF if you've got BB for looks...w/e you prefer

I'm not much for CF on other colors, but that's just me.

I would say I'm going for looks. I found some good prices for both Seibon, and ViS, but as far as looks go I can't deicde on CF or the Fiberglass looks. I found a fiberglass one jet black and gloss paint for 1350.00 without the hardware or glass. But it has a more finished look then the ones that are not painted. On the other Hand I found a carbon fiber one for 1500.00. No hardware or window.

I do have BB.. So you think CF?

If it were me I'd always choose the fiberglass over CF. I *LOVE* the way the matched color Mugen shape looks regardless of color. That's just my personal preference.

The more you say that, the more I am starting to agree..

Here is one that I found and it seems to be painted, but it says, "for a track look". I have BB. I wonder if they would match well together of if I will need to get it repainted myself (which I want to avoid).

I do not know from experience, but I hear VIS HTs are hit or miss on fitment and quality. If you're looking for FRP, I hear good things about the CWings version.

^^ Those arent painted, and I believe the seller is saying the hardtop gives the car a "Track car" look since its more aggressive than the oem.

ViS Racing's FRP* fiberglass Mugen style hardtop is the main choice of S2000 hardtops. All bolts required for the hardware are included (hardware sold separately). Ready to paint,

I don't have experience w/ CF tops, but I rarely have seen a CF hood that didn't have some defective look to it after awhile. I am not sure CF was made to be exposed to the elements (then again I live(d) in AZ).
