Default Car Cover

I'm currently using the Costco car cover, but I want to get something that will really protect it from the environment. I'd like to get some recommendations of covers and know what others are using. I've actually found that the material on the Costco cover is very similar to what dealers are selling, but at a fifth the price.

Avoid using those generic car covers, especially outdoors. Those generic ones are very loose fitting and generally don't have a very delicate fabric underneath. The Honda OEM one is very nice, because the fabric inside is really soft. The fitment is also great. So even if there is wind, then your cover won't be sand-papering your paint job. The only draw back of OEM one is that the cover is not water resistant at all. If you are parking the car outdoors, then get one of those aftermarket ones that are waterproof to go on top of the OEM one. That's the best combo imo, and that's what I used to do.

I've had the Covercraft/Weathershield car cover for years now. Unlike the OEM one, it has some weather protection ability to it. The OEM is basically an indoor dust cover.

The Covercraft is lightweight and relatively thin, so I can roll it up and it doesn't take up the entire trunk. Fitment is great and even accounts for the antenna.

The 4 year warranty doesn't hurt either. They actually replaced mine once already because I used it so much and the water repelling feature started to diminish. They stood behind their product.

I recommend it and use it. Geez that sounds like an ad.......

Here is a link to help. You don't have to use that sales company. I just wanted to illustrate the cover.....

I'll second the Weathershield from Covercraft. It rolls up compactly enough that you can store in your trunk and still actually use the trunk.
