Cannot remove rear axle nut
I am trying to replace the wheel studs on my S. I have done the fronts, but I need to do the rears and can't get the freak'n axle nuts off!!! I did the axle nut tightening thing, which probably f-ed me here. I have tried a breaker bar, with an extension...which broke the breaker bar, and I also have tried using my 785 ft-lbs air gun, which cannot break them loose either!!! I am about to go buy a torch and heat the bastard so hopefully that will aid in breaking these suckers loose.
Before I go buy ANOTHER tool for this job, does anyone have any ideas? I sprayed them both with penetrating catalyst, but that hasn't helped either (did it yesterday and let it sit overnight).

Unstrake the nut, and use a 3/4" breaker bar with a 36mm (3/4") socket. 1/2" tools will break. I would not recommend using a torch. It will require a lot of force, so if you can't get it, call up a friend with some mass/strength, and offer to buy him food or beer if he gets it. You will probably need a 3-4' cheater bar to use with the breaker bar. I use the handle from my craftsman jack. I also recommend chocking the wheels when you do this. When I did it last, it actually pulled the wheel off the ground and the tire started spinning.

I had run into this same issue few weeks back. I actually went to a friend who runs a professional shop and he was able to break it loose with his impact wrench. Breaker bar+ chucked+ massive weight= break loose!

well, got them loose, finally.
i used a 3/4 breaker with a cheater bar. 5' OAL! i actually bent the breaker bar too, but it eventually cracked loose. despite having greased the area last time, I'll use anti-seize on the area and only tighten the nuts to 200 ft-lbs, instead of 250 like i did before (Honda says 181).
Thank you all for your help. It only took 1.5 hrs to do all the wheel studs and put it all back together once the nuts were loose, hah!

I've seen ppl place a 6 foot long, 2-inch diameter galvanized pipe onto a 3/4-inch breaker bar (kinda like the fence pole idea). Set the bar and pipe onto the ground and push the car to help break the nut loose.
