People rock 17x9 all around +44 offset with 255's all around all the time on here. Need some negative camber and or some fender rolling but very easy to have done anywhere.
I would think you could have easily put 255's all around with those offsets and no work.
Just have MUCH less tire than you should have especially for that wheel size. No point in rocking that wide of a wheel if on such a skinny tire.

Go to discount on blanding Blvd. and ask for adam or Charles and ask them what they think of your tire wheels set up. im sure they will be amazed how that came to fly by any of the stores.

FYI it is unsafe and stupid to rock that set up . Just my 2 cents. and yes i have had 17x9 with a 255 40 17 on all four corners lowered.

i just dont understand how you can look at your car and not know this doenst look right. not being a dick but most of your post have been something you could have asked derek , jonny , or any other people here in town.

Here is a direct quote from my receipt;

"225/45ZR-17 91 BFG G-FORCE SPORT RBL"
"245/40ZR-17 91W RBL BFG G-FORCE SPORT RBL"

They cost me $642.00

Obviously I notice my car doesn't look right, i'm not an idiot.
The freakin' wheel is sticking out passed the tire.

It's pissing me off.

Run down civic?

Those are expensive tires, and they told me those are the only ones that would fit with out rubbing. It's not my fault.

I can't afford to purchase new tires so soon, I just bought these 7/02/2010.
This is ridiculous.

they should know better than to put a 225mm tire onto a 9" wide wheel...
those are the stock sizes for 17" wheels... except the stock 17" wheels are like 7", 7.5" wide for the fronts and rears, respectively. not 9".

i'd go talk with the shop that put them on. they recommended the wrong tire sizes.

They told me; "if you went any bigger on the tires you would have serious rubbing issues."

So you have a 225/245 setup?? Thought you had a 205/225 setup. Makes a big difference. If you have 225/245 no big deal then. The 225 will still look weird on the 9" wheel but not 205 weird.

Yeah should be alright. In the future would def be good to get 255's all around since you have a non staggered setup.
