I'm pretty new to the s2000 but I have heard that the 04-05 has the leanest tune from factory? I'm slowly adding bolt-ons and eventually plan on doing I/H/TP/CBE/cams and go with Haltech Pro Plug-in. For the time being, I'm on stock tune but want to add the AEM V2 and a TP and catback. Will this create dangerous lean conditions on the stock tune or can I safely hit the track with it and not worry?

you'll be fine. look into making a 3.5" intake though. Cheaper and will make more power than the aem.

Nice! Going with an intake that size will I need to upgrade the TB to accommodate?

Can but not needed.

I did a 3.5" for about a year then got a 70mm TB and opened up the oem manifold to match when i put a Haltech in.

With TP too will it get too lean?

It will be fine. Dont do the throttle body until you can tune it though. That made it lean as hell. Hit 15.7 AFR at 7k rpm; 3.5" intake, 70mm TB, header, 70mm tp, 3" hks.

There's a few guys in FL that are running the 3.5" intake with test pipes that track and DD with no issues.
