CAI Air Filter Replacement (Injen)
Hello guys. After doing my oil change over the weekend, I took a look at my air filter and it might need to be replaced. I know I can do the recharge kit but I thought why not just buy a new one.
I have an 06+ injen CAI intake. The filter doesn't look too bad but its been over 40k with it. And lately my MPG has been dipping which could be a number of things but why not do the simple thing first before I reset the ECU or take a look at my flashpro logs.
Anyways, what do you guys go with? should I go with the same replacement from Injen. Or go with the injen nano fiber dry filter.
I would go with other brands as well. Let me know your thoughts and if possible provide a link or a part number

you can just wash it and use a k&n recharge kit. but my aem v2's filter is dryflow and it requires no oil. just rinse off with water and let dry. your injen might be dry flow and you can just wash it with the hose and dry it off.
when i had my aem v2 i washed it every other oil change! 40k is a long long time. but if it still flows good wash dry or wash/recharge kit from k&n

i have done the wash/recharge kit in the past and don't like it that much. I remember spraying the oil gets a bit messy and if you apply it too much, it would get onto your sensors.
I rather just buy a new one
anyone have a part number for a replacement? or go with like a K&N filter replacement?
