so i just bought these new from another member and the instructions don't give any specs on how to set the lower bracket, to set ride height.

i need a starting point so i don't start off SLAMMED and then have to adjust the height while the coilovers are installed, much harder to turn the whole assembly when it's installed.

so anyway, i need a good starting point, like 1.5in drop.

what would be the distance between the lower bracket collar and the spring preload collar?

they come out of the box with the lower bracket completely threaded up which i assume would slam the crap out of the car.
