if you're FI, those stoptech rotors will be good, IMO. As for good pads, I'd check in the racing forum, there are a few good threads on brake pads. I don't remember the brand, but the pads are XP8's I think, they're supposed to be good for street driving and won't eat the rotor.

Yes they will.

You will only benefit from changing the fluid - MAYBE.

But if you have an itch, try the Stoptech Stage II and be done.

Look at Rotora or Centric blank rotors. They at least have an anti-rust coating that will offer some added benefit on the street as you won't get that unsightly rust. The slotted / crossdrilling won't benefit you at all. New rotors are unnecessary, and only would be good to satisfy an itch to buy something.

Like everyone else mentioned, brake fluid matters. Let me rephrase, fresh brake fluid matters (with no air in the lines). That's what matters on the street. When you're elevating the brake system temperature up to track temps, that's when having a good brake fluid (ATE or Motul) matters more.

As to brake pads, look for autocross pads. Ones with good cold bite and fade resistance. I used and liked the Axxis Ultimate pads on my Integra years ago. Hawk, Carbotech, and Cobalt Friction all make great compounds.

Stainless steel lines are unnecessary. In fact, you can't beat the OEM system without completely upgrading to a big brake kit, and even then you upset the braking balance on the car.

I was planning on buying ATE super blue racing fluid. it seems like alotta people use it. would that be suitable for street use, or is it too much?

So, I guess I will just get new pads and flush my brake fluid.
