Brake Upgrade
So i'm in need of new brake pads. I want to upgrade during the replacement process. I was thinking of going with....
1.) Project Mu B-Force pads and a complete set of Stop-tech rotors (slotted not drilled) The damage=$496.00
Or.
2.)EBC "red stuff" pads and a complete set of EBC rotors (drilled and crossslotted)
The damage=$530.00
I will be installing this myself. I want to figure which setup is better for my 2004.
Also if you guys have had better luck with different equipment please let me know thanks

What flaw are you seeking to address with this "upgrade"? For street use, either the OEM AP1 pads (slightly less dust) or the OEM AP2 pads (slightly higher fade resistance) are easily the best choices. For track use you want full track pads, but you do not want to be driving around on them on the street.
As far as rotors go, for street use it doesn't matter. Whatever floats your boat. For track use, stick with the OEM-style solid disks.

there are many choices out there but heres my setup, the science of speed 2 pc front race rotor(slightly lighter than oem, but very strong and durable), and i pc race rotor slotted from science of speed...i have hawk ceramic brake pads, i have them for 10 months now, i have track it once last oct for two days, and still good until now, and i love them for the street....
good luck,

well i just change it with the scienceofspeed slotted rear rotor.and then i put ceramic pads by hawk...i also remove the dust shields for front and rear, i tot it will help cooling and may save a little weight.
