Default Black lug nuts that won't chip or fade?

Looking for some lug nuts in black that wont fade and wont chip. Budget is $120 or less. Considering T1R and Muteki. I've also considered the neo chrome ones if they'll do a decent job and won't chip or fade. They're going on silver rpf1's. Opinions?

Honda CR OEM lugnuts are black. And cheap. And don't chip.

And these work ok on aftermarket wheels? I was under the impression you shouldn't use factory lugs on aftermarket wheels because they don't sit correctly. If that's the case then will my OEM lugs work?

Btw, where's the best place to order CR lugs?

I have a set of black muteki. They havn't chipped on me in the last two years and I've had my wheels on and off a few times. I think I payed 40 something dollars for the set.

Open or closed? Seems one is made of cold forged steel and one is made of chrome vanadium so, what would be better?

This is correct. OEM lugs will not work. You'll need a tapered lug, OEM are ball shaped. Unless the CR ones are different. I'm pretty sure they're just black though.

I had Muteki open ended ones on my other car. I never had an issue with them though some people reported cracking.

Definitely don't need any of that. Has anyone tried these Project Kics Caliber 24?

Check out Mcgard Tuner spline lugs and locks. Great lug nuts, no chipping or fading. The set you want would be 65557BK, includes locks. 85.00 on amazon.

Go with Muteki ones. $45 shipped or so and I have not had any of them chip at all in about a years time.
