Biggest waste of money mods that YOU had

probably my ebay exhaust. it's 3" so it's too loud, and with silencer in it sometimes sounds like its farting. i mean the sound is decent but i rather have saved up for a better exhaust with smaller piping.

um the x-brace, worth crap, save the money get coilovers
that being said, it's definetly worth it unless you drive around on tracks all day long. my cusco rollbar essentially does the same thing....and i've notice a big difference on bumpy, canyon carving roads i like to hit up.

Buying an Intake, Torque damper, 2 different exhaust, 2 extra headers, a cheap strut bar that i later on bought a different one. Buying a high-flow cat. Spending a lot of money at a shop that did the work for cheaper labor only to find out later that they didn't know wtf they were doing.
car being tuned at a place that didn't know what they were doing.
In the end its just better to save your money and just buy the BEST of that part for your car and make sure you Won't be getting Forced Induction later in life. cuz once you go boost all those N/A parts are a big waste of $$$

I disagree, because everyone may not want to go FI, so if you enjoy modding the car it's not always (and normally never is) about ROI. I plan on buying a header this summer but still don't know if I am going turbo or S/C. The trick is buying the parts that work either way, like a good Catback, testpipe, and suspension first.
