Do you know where I can find a DIY writeup on how to install that? I bought one from ebay, but I can't find a good place to mount it on AP1. The best place is already taken by the cruise control.
If you have an aftermarket intake that doesn't occupy the stock airbox bracket, use that as a mounting point for your catch can

I bought that same short ram intake. Fits fine, the problem is I don't know how to mount the bracket to keep the intake filter form sitting on the cross member bar. Also, there's no heat shield so I think the whole thing just gets heat soaked.

It's a temporary fix until I can buy a full CAI or buy/make a heat shield.
That intake is trash, I had it and put a K&N filter on and it would heat soak like crazy. Stock airbox was wayyyyy better

Agreed.

I need to buy a new air duct from the stock box to the intake manifold.

those intakes are worst than just taking the lid of the oem box. your better of taking the lid off and will give you the same sound without hurting to much. i have done the lid off for a winter cuz of the cool air and than summer came. i was driving around and was like wtf is up with the power. put the lid back on and what a difference. i knew the lid off would hurt me but it was only meant for the winter where its cool anyways

heres the ebay intake i stripped and repainted it white cost $30 for the intake and im deffinitly please i dont notice it being heat soaked at all and i think this intake closely resembles the K&N intake everyone raves about it just doesnt have the airbox K&N has but i might make one myself in the near future. the filter on this ebay intake is my old K&N filter i didnt use the one that came with the intake but it does look good and i will when its time to replace the K&N

why spend 30 for that when all you had to do was remove the lid. at least without the lid you still have to bottom box to keep some heat away.

you wont notice heat soak right away because you havent gotten used to it. once you get used to driving around with that for a few 1000 miles and put the stock unit back in, you will.
