Anything can be fixed with the right amount of money. I don't think it would be worth it to fix. It would take a lot of work by someone that is experienced in welding titanium and skilled in rolling metal. Even after that, the tip will never look right.

Best bet would be to take it to a welder and just have them cut/mill the muffler out, and just chop off the tip ( ), and then re-weld a new titanium bend for the muffler and weld on a new tip.

As already pointed out though, welding titanium is not easy, and I know titanium exhausts actually don't handle heat cycles as well as steel. I have no idea how much this would cost to do, or how well it would hold up over time.

My .02 would be to find a reputable welder in your area and see what their opinion is.

that exhaust is not only bent, it is twisted down the length of the muffler section. thats sucks. because it will not be easy to get out. This one may be toast, but YMMV

Oh yeah. OP, if you haven't purchased this yet then don't go through with it. If that's the case then food for thought: Most users on this site seem to think that a well crafted stainless steel exhaust is a better option than a highly expensive titanium. The weight savings are relatively minimal if you go with a single-exit system, and as I said titanium welds don't handle heat cycles as well.

Only reason to go with a titanium, IMO, is if you really want that "bling" factor or want the titanium exhaust sound (which admittedly, is a really sweet noise). I wonder if you could just do a titanium muffler/tip on an otherwise steel exhaust and get similar sound results...?

Yeah, which is why I think his only option would be to entirely cut out that section and re-weld the muffler and tip on. not sure how practical that is or how much it would cost though.

The sound is different since its just the muffler thats Ti and I don't think you can weld the 2 together so there is a possible trouble spot where they meet. They usually rivet the muffler on so its not really ideal.

By the time you were done fixing this exhaust you probably would have spent more than a new one or really only saved a small amount of money. I wouldn't bother. A used one in good shape will end up being cheaper and a new one will still likely be cheaper and less headache.
