It's definitely only made for AP1 bumpers. It doesn't fit an OEM AP2 without distorting/damaging the bumper.

I'm glad that the 20th extends a bit so that it doesn't damage the bumper. I might have to find a way to fill the gaps on the side panels somehow.

It's not going to forcibly damage it, but if you want to connect the bumper to the panel at the sides, you'll have to pull in on the bottom to line up the holes and possibly make new ones to attach the screws. My current bumper is beat up, so I didn't mind. It's mostly not noticeable unless you're under the car.

Curious, I have an AP2 and am looking to install. If I have the ability to fabricate a piece of aluminum to cover the gap, would this be a feasible solution? I'm thinking I would use cardboard to make a template of the gap, and then cut aluminum to shape, and find hardware, probably rivet or self tapping screws to extend the original panel.
